    Default Peranakan photoshoot

    Dears Clubsnap forumers,

I trying to do a project around the Peranakan culture which I would like to show it with a modern view. I have found some location and model which fit the fashion/documentary look I want to give. However I am struggling to find a garnement shop which could rent a couple of outfit for the occasion.
Does anyone have some suggestion for some shops (I can pay a reason able price for the services)?

    Thanks for your help,

Thanks a lot for the answers, well In fact the ones I was looking for is more the one that looks likethe ones at the Pernakan Museum. In particular the one in white (linen I guess) with the fine embroideries.
unfortunately in the costumes shop it's more the colorful ones that are availables, and at the Pernakan Museum I didn't find more information.
(I tried google a bit but couldn't find very convincing results, idea to improve my search are most welcome).

    Many thanks,

    Thanks for the feedback,
I went to the Peranakan Museum, and they were helpful! apparently the most common kabayas are the colourful ones.
they already have addresses of some shops:
    - Katong Antique House, 208 East Coast road, Singapore 428907
    - Rumah Bebe, 113 East Coast road, Singapore 428803
    - Timeless Treasure, 19 Tanglin road (tanglin shopping centre), Singapore 428907
I haven't been to theses shops as I was looking for white Kabaya, but it might be useful for others in the futures.

For the whites ones, there is a shop on the ground floor of the people park complex (near Chinatown station), sorry I haven't the address for that one but it was not too difficult to find it.
