Mass order for D70

Hi, I wonder is anyone can help me? my friend and myself are keen to buy the D70 & kit len, Are we allow to set up a thread and organise who are interest to buy the camera and order in mass quantity? As i am inexperience in this area, could anyone advise how to go about it? Cheers

First of all, if you wanna conduct an MO, you'll have to do the legwork -go look for a dealer who can give you good prices if you order X sets, freebies etc. Then just post it in the Consumers forum, stating the price, how many units must be booked and the last day for booking, as well as payment terms.

Alternatively, there are several people here who organizes MO's on a regular basis, you can just PM them directly to liase with them. Good luck!

I doubt you'll be able to get a very much lower price for the D70, you should just go to a shop like Lords and ask them the best price they can give you if both you and your friend were to buy.

visit the sitex show in suntec convention hall on 25-27 Nov. Maybe got some freebies like 1GB CF card...... if purchase D70 kit from the show

i still cannot decide 300D (now got freebies) or D70.... i personally prefer D70 but comparing the freebies seems like i can get more out of the pathetic budget im working with now....lol

Mayb you shldn't upgrade if you do not have the means. Getting the body is just the starting of an endless spending. Be happy with what you have.

There are 2 of us who are thinking of getting the D70, but I am waiting to see what the Sitex have to offer, shall we do it after the 25th of Nov, post the prices and we shall meet up to make the purchase. PM me if there is any progress.

anyone bought the D70 kit during nov from AP? cause i heard they extended the promos till end of nov ...free 1gb CF ,tripod and battery.

i think you guys should wait for a moment, at least wait and see what is the package offer in expo PC show (in fact, nowadays PC show is just a DC show + printer show and leave a place for PC dealers)
if price no good, then Mass order from other shop which the boss is angry that he cannot get nikon's authority to sell at expo while seeing his competitor is laughing at expo. (even in Changi also can hear, haha)
