Default MO: Lenses from BHphotovideo

Hi guys, this MO is for lenses from BHphotovideo, hope to cut down shipping costs by pooling the orders together. For this MO i will need full payment to be made minus shipping before I will order for you meaning

Full Payment = [Price on BH]*[1.68 conversion rate]*[1.05 5% GST]*[Quantity]

Shipping cost will be shared after confirmation of cost.
Since it is very hard to calculate by proportion of the shipping cost, the shipping cost will be calculated by [Total Shipping Cost]/[Total number of People], unless there is a better way to calculate.

I will be using USPS - Global Express Mail (3-5 business days) direct from BH NOT through vpostusa. Orders will be made once shipping has been cut reasonably.

Please PM me the link to your item on the page plus the quantity you want.

I will make order when I have gathered enough orders and response is good. Thanks!

B & H charge shipping by individual items or per package? If shipping is charge by individual items then will it still be cheaper?

I am interested in buying the Tamrac velocity 4 (Checked with ProPhoto, no response) and Lowepro Edit 140+ bags (CP says only in Jan 2005). I've checked and they're currently not avaliable in Singapore.

They charge by package i believe, as reference, when i add one 70-200 F4/L, shipping cost is 50.00 USD and when i change quantity to 2, shipping increases slightly to 61.00 USD approx (forgot and not able to confirm now because BH is down at the moment). If you are interested can you pm me the links to the products or post here also can with the quantity u want.

Don't forget to add another 5% GST if your amount exceed SGD$400

an additional reference from adorama

1 x 70-200 F4/L shipping is $50 USD
2 x 70-200 F4/L shipping is $65 USD

the system is somewhat similar to bh. So the more orders there are the lower the shipping spread across the products purchased.

Oh you encountered the error msg too! Tot is my connection.

Oh yes, i just checked. They charge by weight. Shipping to SG by U S Postal Service Express Mail:

Minimum $35 for 1st lb.
Add $4 for each additional lb.
Insurance $1.25 per $100

UPS Express:
Min. $35 for 1st lb.
Add $4 for each additional lb.
Insurance 50¢ per $100

Both about the same price?

After you have pm-ed me the details of your order, please transfer the exact amount rounded off based on the equation in the first post to this posb account number 126-88713-2 and pm me your hp no. so that I can confirm successful transfer of funds.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
For orders below $400 USD, please DO NOT add 5% GST as is shown in the equation.

Orders < 400 USD:
Full Payment = [Price on BH]*[1.68 conversion rate]*[Quantity]

Orders >= 400 USD:
Full Payment = [Price on BH]*[1.68 conversion rate]*[1.05 5% GST]*[Quantity]

Another important note is that shipping will be split at the end based on

[Total Amount]/[Total People]

regardless of the value and weight of your item. So it might be more worth it to get higher value items.

haha i not very sure what kind of backdrops you want to buy but when I add a Adorama Vinyl Graduated Background 43" X 63" Studio Gray #628 to 2 pieces of F4/L in adorama, the shipping increase a few bucks only. BH still down....

Major Update:

BH has been down since yesterday for quite some time already, not sure whether they will be up by evening, hence if the website is not up by 6pm today, I will order from Adorama instead. Shouldn't be a problem as they are as reputable as BH.

better if you order the tripod collar for your 70-200 f4, you can find cheaper alternative by choose the "B" series canon tripod colar, the price is 1/2 than the white original one.

good luck
