Default Teens Model Search 2004

Last year's winner!

Enjoy the rest of the pics....

Shot it light, apologise for the off-centered perspective coz did not bring the longer lens/flash extender to shoot at 500mm.

Teens Model Search 2004

PS. Who won?

looks fun seems like you're making full use of the 70-200 f2/8

heh... i meant that i did not bring my 50-500 so that's why must move closer and shoot from the side. Usually these model search shows have rows of seats seperating you and the stage, so you need some serious focal length.

Actually I noticed another problem with it, the brightness is good and i get superb speed at 2.8, but now i get blurred pics coz of insufficient DOF. The 50-500 is slow but masks AF inaccuracies.

I mean, with a DOF of say only 50cm, 0.2s lag in AF means some quite some shift when they are walking briskly. That 50cm DOF is obtained with 200mm at 2.8 with a subject distance of 13m. (full body at 13m 200mm)

Should try f4 or something next time. Actually too high shutter speeds.
