Your Q in relation to thread somewhere?

If the photo is die die must take, one-in-a-million shot, one that someone will pay you $$$, or that make every viewers' eyes go big-big & drop off, or cause DOMs salivate & dream non stop, etc then I say camera (with lens) more important lah. If photo like s**t, no skill, lousy subject &/or no idea why the hell am I taking this for, & equipment worth costs the earth then of course camera more important

If U like to learn from TT..........
Tungtong will ask you 3 questions.

    1. If you need to lie down on the muddy floor would you do it?
    2. Is your camera more important or the photo more important?
    3. If offered food from your subjects, would you eat it?

....your answers are "yes" and no "buts"

The gear by themselves are important but the shots are invaluable.

Is taking that 1 shot more important or taking the many more immediately after more important?

Having the last say doesn't mean you are correct, it just mean you are desperate.

Only in the other world there is no light and no shadow.

The unseen beings float around without shadows.

There is only one sound: scream of people in pains.

the most important is to have a pic taken with any gear you own and being seen and remenbered by others after a long time.
Take both its legs down first, then cuts its tail, next is shoot between its eyes:devil:

    i leave it to fate

but to be honest as a person, I will save my camera if i can help it ......

I guess Tungtung's question to us is
"How MUCH will you sacrifice yourself for an image?"

I would choose photo is more important than the gear.
Let's just sit down and think. Once a building is completed, Who do we thank for? The architect or the contractor? Some may says the architect who design but isn't the contractor who make it happen.
