Thanks!. What attracted me was the good waterproof nature of the bag. This might just fit my needs. Thanks again

I would like to have some recommendations on getting a messenger bag for storing these set of items.

    1. Camera/Camcorder - NEW Ciesta Flexible(M) Camera insert Partition Padd...
This partition is for my camera and lens. Size 30W X 15H X 18D.

    2. A Macbook pro 13" (32.5W X 2.41H, 22.7D)

    3. Some but not too much space to put other stuffs in the bag. (trying to look small and compact despite such demand on the bag capacity)

I know carrying stuffs like that, it is better off to get a dedicated camera/laptop bag but I want to have the freedom to switch my bag usage as an when I need/like. This is also for daily non-camera usage and potentially for Uni.

I was looking at Crumpler Barney-Rustle (39W X 27.5H X 21D) but when I got to the shop it seems a little too small. The concern is on the Depth of the bag to fit the height of the macbook and the depth of the partition, but I realised most crumpler messenger bags are proportionally bigger in the width for those bags that can give a little more allowance to the depth vector.

So anyone can suggest a bag that fits my request?
Ona Union Street? Beautiful price tag though.

TK Foto has brought in the leather satchel from Ona... Can't remember the name, very ex. I think it's close to the Billingham's design... But I think it exceeds the price.. $459.

Welcome to T K FOTO - ONA Shoulder Bags

I believe they also have something from Herringbone, but IIRC it looked a bit feminine. Not my cup of tea, but it is also more expensive?

    Welcome to T K FOTO - Herringbone
    (Oldparm Basic, $329)

The Ona bag is way too long for me. In the end I gave up on hoping for a dream office sling bag - all I want is space to hold clothes for the gym, a laptop, iPad, camera with 1 or 2 lenses and accessories... So I just bought a backpack - the Compu Photo 250. Quite happy with it. At the very least, there's little space wasted, even if it's still a bit blocky.

If you want something cheaper than Hadley Pro but in real leather, then I think you'd be hard pressed.. Leather bags don't come cheap, and leather IS more expensive than canvas.. Perhaps you could try hunting for a leather non-camera bag and work it from there, but it won't be the same, since leather will be stiff, the inserts would probably bounce around everywhere inside. I don't think there are that many leather camera bags available, actually.. It's not a very common material, since I think a leather camera bag would probably be quite heavy too!

i saw a pretty nice one at Vivo City but, it was just too small. the exact design i was looking for. flap with two symmetrical pouches in the front

for me, what i plan to use that bag for was a tablet and the NEX-7 (all future purchases)

Woah.. Ona Bags are too much for me haha..

I went around looking for different partitions and I came to like this 2.

    Camera/Camcorder - P7215 Partition Padded Bag / DSLR SLR Camera Bag ...

This one can stretch its depth from 10-18cm. I wonder it's performance is up to my standard..

Tenba Pro Digital 2.0 Photo Insert 638-251 B&H Photo Video

The Tenba partition used to be a good choice, but it stop distribution in SG and getting it from overseas will come a hefty price..

That's on paper. U should see the real thing and bring along yr MacBook to fit inside.

    Paper measurements are never accurate

I own the older version of The Snoop bought it from a fellow cser. How tall are you? Im 1.8m and quite big sized and the bag with everything inside is fantastic but you need to change the provided sling cusion the provided one is rediculasly thin and puts strain on your shoulder after a long day. The difference with the old model and newer one is the newer one has velcro straps that secure the inserts to your bag which is very useful sometimes. in there i put my 550D with batt grip, tammy 17-50, flash, cleaning tools(blower, swabs and such), charger and such. It has a neat little stap bellow the bag to strap a light wight stand below the bag.

try Orkio? has a lappie compartment big enough for a 15" mac, and a removable padded bag, so that you can reduce the bulk and convert it to a casual 'soft' messenger bag when needed. this bag survived a theme park where I got drenched several times accompanying my 6 year old on repeated rides. the waterproof bottom is also very resilient and i don't see much scuff marks, still shiny !

copied the below over from another thread (http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/revie...ml#post7344279)

    It has a VERY well-built hand-hold strap

There is a pull-out bag insert that you can take out to pack your gear properly or to leave at home if you have other stuff to haul

One of the many many little things they incorporated into the design ..... a waterproof bottom ..... check out the stitchings.....

The stitchings are just .... so clean and strong..... and the material is top-rate ....
