Default MO: Lenses from HK, Flying early December

Hi fellow CSers,

I together with 1-2 more photographer will be flying off to Hong Kong coming early December. Thus I am ready in conducting MO of Lenses for those who are looking for getting lenses with a saving from HK. My prices is transparent to you as I'll be giving you back the original receipt from the shop I purchase from with the original price as well. This would provide you to a valid International Warranty should you need to claim from Nikon/Canon Singapore later.

On hand, I have some ready prices for some popular Nikon Lenses like AFS70-200VR, AFS17-35, AFD80-200, AF105Macro, etc, thus would be able to quote you off hand. Note that the price that I'll be quoting will be a range of about $30-$50 different, as this depends very much on the total no. of orders received. There is a little markup from the original price I paid in HK to cover for all the transport for me and my photographers (Air-Tickets only). Note: we don't intend to make from these MO, and we actually have some business in HK for this trip.

Myself, together with my partner photographers will personally check individually all lenses purchased before we buy. We are qualified photographers too and thus understand the importance of buying and getting a good piece of lens.

Note that we only take in orders for Nikon and Canon only, reasons being my regular supplier in HK only carries these 2 brand, of which I can trust them in take goods from original Nikon and Canon Hong Kong directly.

For Canon orders, I'll collate the interested buyers and call Hong Kong at one go to confirm stock and prices before I can quote you. So be a little patience with my reply.

As for payments, once I confirm my flight and the availability of the stock, I need you to pay me 100% in advance as I am also taking other stuff for myself, thus there would be too much cash involved. You'd able to collect your purchases in 4days time. However, do not order or enquire from me if you can't trust me on this.

I am open to contact via h/p: 96456423 should you have further enquiries. But please SMS during office hours.

Thanks in advance.

My flight have been confirmed to fly off on the 30th Nov 2004. Will be back in Singapore on the 3rd Dec 2004. Collection for the items ordered will be on the 4th Dec 2004 onwards.

For more orders, please PM me your contact no. And I'll call you. I do not want to post the prices openly online here as it is not fair for the retailers in Singapore. Likewise, those whom have ordered or enquired which I have already quoted you earlier, please keep this price to yourself.

Do let me know if you would like to join in this MO and get the saving for your dream lenses and flash. The last order date is 24rd Nov 2004.

How much, inclusive of all extra costs, for Canon 70-200 f4L & 17-40 f4L?
And also B&W UV filter for both the lenses?
