Oslo + Tromso
Hi all.. my wife and me are planning to visit Oslo and Tromso to try to shoot the Northern Lights. I want to ask, does our DSLR's batt hold charge for less amount of time in that cold conditions? Any other advice? Appreciated. Thanks!!

Battery drains faster at lower temperature.

Third-party Li-ion batteries are quite cheap on eBay (usually by Hong Kong or ShenZhen dealers).
When I went Everest Base Camp, which was like -10 to -20 deg celcius, I brought along 2 spare batteries.
I was in Oslo, Trondheim and the fjord regions many many years ago during summer and the sceneries were beautiful beyond words.
All the best for aurora hunting!
