Default You want comments?

Try not to shoot weddings. After seeing so many wedding pix posts, I see it's really hard to shoot something original and creative. I almost pity wedding photographers-- they must be bored with the same tea ceremony, studio shoot, outdoor shoot, dinner shoot, Botanic gardens shoot, ROM shoot, etc...

Isn't that the point of being original and creative? To shoot the same events in a creative way.

Very ordinary wedding photos. I meant, it's basically just a recording of the day's event. No comments, except that photos seem to be over sharpened. Thanks.

Actually every wedding is different. although to the photographer, they always shoot the same thing but to the couple, they are important. And it is the photographer's job to document all these event down.

Bro, you did great.....am sure it is quite acceptable to the couple. Of course you can't compare to semi or full-time pros charging $600 and upwards.

When you are feeling more confident, just add in some more abstract shots like close ups of the auspicious items like bed lights, can liao.

Apply the rule of thirds or place the items more at the corners, still considered standard fare by some here but better than nothing.

Thanks for the feedback. Yup it looks a tad oversharpened.

2100, you mentioned about the rule of thirds... I think i did apply the rule to most of the pics here. Which ones here failed in that sense? Thanks!

eric69, do shed some light on how you seperate the good from the average wedding photos? Will be great to know so that i can improve. Thanks!

I'm no pro but I like the one where the couple is pouring champagne and there's a bored chap on the left side. Wonder how it would look like in b&w.
