There are a couple of options if your scholarship fails.... (All the below options have alot of people who went for it).
1) local uni, take bank loan...and slowly pay off when you start work.
2) part time study in private uni... depending on where you applying for, the fees can be abt $10k cheaper than local uni.
3) work for a couple of years then go study.
In option 1, you will have ample time to complete your studies in an "orderly" manner...with not as much rush as part time...but you will be stuck with the debts after your studies
In option 2, you will have a good chance that you will drop BOTH balls if you cannot handle stress and manage your time VERY well. I've seen more than a couple of friends who failed a couple of times to pass exams but screwed their main job at the same time too. Also, your social life in option 2 can be also be very screwed as you will spend alot of time during weekends doing assignments
Option 3, same as option 1, just that you slog your few years earning $ to pay for school fees. But noting that you are a A level student, imo, I would rather pay a poly student to do the relevant job...the diff is in the learning from the schools....this route is not recommended for JC students as it will put you in a more disadvantage position...
But no matter which option you opt for, it's all the same... you will end up penniless
