Newbies Outing - Esplanade, Sat 21 Nov 1830hrs

This is meant for those of you who might have recently bought a digital camera (not necessarily a DSLR) but don't really know how to use it well.
If you're interested to take some pics of the city skyline at dusk, and perhaps meet some other photographers, this is for you!

We will meet along the Esplanade waterfront @ 1830hrs, then go around to Merlion, Fullerton, old Supreme Court, and call it a day from there. If weather is bad, event will be called off.

anyway there's no horizon against which to see the setting sun from esplanade.

Tripod would be very useful to bring along. I have a spare one (Nikon-branded 'freebie' tripod) if anyone wants to borrow for the day.

A small bottle of water is a good idea too!

I assume most have body + kit lens, but if you have some other fancy lenses, feel free to bring along too!
