Ok lah... I guess.
Must come up with some reasons to sell lor. If I were to sell, maybe I would say: "L lenses too heavy for my 40D and for my fingers..."...

i guess my camera can't really tell the difference between l lens and non l lens in terms of the sizes i want out of it. best part is, most people can't to, they just chase the red rubber band. ![]() |

Same. No USM, focusing is really slow.

like most L lenses provide the range or aperture that 'normal' lenses don't provide. and if you need (very subjective, yes) what they can provide, then there is little choice, is there? |

anyways, i doubt more than half of L lens users really need a L lens. it is nothing wrong to have money to buy what you want, i guess, but fact remains fact. |

I suspect it is painted with some upmarket premium red pigment ink. i fell for the marketting hype now i inspect my lenses regularly to make sure the red ring is intact.

i have a bottle of liquid paper in my pocket just for the occasion that arises when i get to paint the red ring white. then walk off hearing the screams of anguish from the ex-l lens owner. ![]() ![]() |

L lenses be it is just a lens. It's how the PG use it that matters.
