Alan Photo is selling it at $550.
I nearly bought it cos of it's size and colour, and the swivelling lens ![]() It's a very nice camera, if u dun mind not having a view finder. I was quote $600 for the camera plus the charger+batteries and casing. |

Cathay Photo don't carry the QV2400 or the QV2900. You could try Alan Photo or MS Color in AMK (their prices are a bit higher than Alan Photo). Do note that to use filters or add-on lens with the QV2400, you'll need an extension tube.

For QV2900, you dun need any lens adaptor, IF I'm not wrong as this is what the AP sales person told me. Anyway he demo in front of me ![]() I believe KC could explain more as he has this camera. Just get the QV2900, I think the 8x Zoom is worth the prize. Unless u're on budget constraint or u like the colour of QV2400 like me ![]() |

I was referring to the QV2900UX. Have edited my post. The QV2900UX don't need an adaptor cos the lens do not extrude from the case. The QV2400UX lens protrude out.
Get the 2900UX if you can spare $100 more. The extra 5x zoom comes in handy for shots at the zoo, bird parks and macro shots with a close-up filter. |

The pics don't turn up cos dpreview do not allow hot linking of images.

KC, does the 2400 come with TV-out function. Do you happen to know any other cheap PnS DC that has TV-out function?
