was quoted $1250 GST inc. at CP but bought it together with a few other things - total package, approx $1500 GST inc., and credit card charge waived for :

o ya.. CF card of 128mb is 90 bucks.. i believe its quite high... the CP guy quoted me.. I am not sure abt the prices... ard..

Any idea if these shops will reduce prices near christmas??

I think it's not nice for me to reveal the store. But 1200$ exist.

A friend who bought a 602 from Alan Photo today informed me that G3 is out of stock for the moment. He forgot, however, to ask when stocks are coming in.

I don know what is going on but I was at Alan Photo around 4 this afternoon.. the place was PACKED!!!

anyway saw THREE sets of G3 being sold while I was there... I don know what is going on but it seems like they are putting the G3 inside and will only take it out if requested. Very strange, probably instructions from Nikon (due to the Nikon fair in the lobby which they are also incharge of???)
