Talking Lomo Users?

Can I have a show of hands/legs/paws/whatever who are the lomo users, be it LC-A, Super Sampler, Action Sampler, Holga, etc?

And how active are you with your Lomo? :P

Hi fellow Lomographers

Just discovered this thread. Hope to get to know each and everyone of you soon. Maybe we can even organise our own Lomo outings.

I have the following stuff from Lomo:

Lomo LC-A
Action Sampler
Super Sampler (Orange Helloween Edition)
Holga 110 & 120
Kalimar Action Shot

Have not tried using a flash with the LC-A cause it'll defeat the purpose of the LC-A in the first place.

This is my Lomo home link:

www.lomohomes.com/funksoulava

Cheers!

Nice to know that you are one of the lomo-maniacs ;P funksoulava

Just curious... you have nice set of pictures. Did you use the A feature or you set particular apertures for different pix? Care to share? :P

Come see my lomography site

Hi Nekogotch,

Thanks for your compliments

Most of my pictures were shot using the 'A' feature. The only exception (if I remember correctly) is the Marina Waterfront (5.6). By the way, I used an LC-A and Rollei 35S to shoot the same locations, in order to compare both cameras. The results were actually quite surprising, given that the LC-A is a lo-fi, old skool camera, while the 35S is a legend with a Carl Zeiss lens.

this shot is nice...I like the colour-combination. The stone pedestal looks a tad overexposed but doesn't really bother me. I like the shadows on the door too. The water pipes broke the potentially-boring symmetry. Great one!

one question: where u find this door huh?

btw robert...didn't realise u and I were same family 500 years ago, hehe.

WOW~~~~ Quite IMPRESSIVE I must say.....

At first glance thot it was the LC-A.....did you seal up all the light leaks? You must teach me, can?

My favourite is the 'Yellow Door'. Nice contrast between the wall and door. You took it around lunch time? Around one of the Chinatown 'back lanes'?

Great shots!
