Hi to all,
Due to the lack of suitable, low priced slave flashes on the market for digital cameras, I am custom making this flash from Suntax. More orders will help drive the price down. At the same time can help fellow clubsnappers get a nice affordable slave flash. ![]() Suntax Slave Flash Price: $80 - Note: Product Information below outdated - Features:
It should look something like this: ![]() Ordering Details A deposit is necessary before confirmation for every order, this is to prevent cases where participants chage their minds after the order is placed or the mysterious disappearance of participants when the products arrive. Sorry but this is necessary for I have to pay the manufacturer in full before I can get the stuff. I would prefer an electronic transfer, for this is by far the easiest and most convinient method. It can be done either through the internet or by using an ATM. Please PM me if you'd like to order. Kindly include:
Confirmed Participants: 10 qhelix (Jared) (By Mail) mtsang88 (Martin) Tony K (Collected) cruxader acieed fastwatch stk Zoomer Waiting List: 0 This list is for people who were too late to make the order dateline. If someone gives up his order, these are the people who will get it. No one now. Last edited by Zoomer; 30th May 2003 at 10:01 PM. |

Announcements
Confirmed Collection (30/5/2003): Confirmed Collection Date - 4th June 2003 Wednesday To coincide with SEED Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm Place: Peninsular Plaza Basement Foodcourt If you see a black, yellow and red box with Suntax flashes, you would have gotten to the right place. I understand that some of you are rather unhappy with how long this MO took, and I apologise for the unexpectely long time and hitches that delayed things. stk, sorry for all the trouble. Hope you and Sk8te can work something out. In any event, please do make sure that one of you collects your flash next Wednesday. Thanks for your understanding and patience with this. Both Nikon and Canon's latest flash system all use preflash. If you are shooting anything with a group of other photographers you are likely to kana like xiao. The flash head may will overheat and burn off. Of course this can be overcomed by DIYing a channel for the Digicam's flash to reach the slave sensor by enclosing both in a piece of paper, the paper will also block out the other ppl's sensor from reaching the slave sensor. |

Hi,
firstly, why would you need a bracket? Well, I believe suntax has a handle version, which acts like the bracket. Yes, it does uses an onboard sensor but you can 1. + or - 1 stop 2. Manual override (Custom feature) Do ask if you have more qs! |

This slave works with virtually all camera that have an on board flash.
It works by sensing the flash from the camera to trigger its own onbard flash. |

Instead of having the on board flash trigger off the slave, is it possible to connect a external sync cable to it as input?
I'm using the c2100uz and that's what i'm doing right now with a sb27 flash. In that way, the problem of having the slave flash triggered off by other camera flashes will be avoided? |

![]() I do think that there is a plug, but I'm not too clear with the details. It accepts a 3 pin/connector jack, most likely can be used if a suitable cable is found. As for the bracket, maybe some of you guys here might know. I personally have no idea. |
