Default Glen Coe photoshopped..

Hi all, i recently complained abt poor results after scanning from slides... here:previous thread

so i did so PS...do let me know what you all think!! The one on top is the original.






btw, cant seem to get rid of the flare from the white shirt...its not in the original slide

I do have the same problem scanning my slide too. The colour will be slightly purple, sometimes the colour looks dull. Always need to play a bit in the PS.

The above photos looks so much different after some tweaking,

Your scanner might be dusty. I got a coolscan and the mirror get dusty quite fast. To clean the mirror i scan a picture, when the software reads ~100%, I turn it off and remove the film adapter. The mirror is now in the front. I use some cotton buds, drip some lens cleaning fluid on them and gently wipe the mirror.

PS : Just read your old thread, tell the shop to clean their scanner
