Default Portable Hide/Changing Tent

I am checking if anyone is interested in this portable standing tent. I find it useful for nature photog - as seen in the pics below. It is also used as a private "changing room" for picnic, swimmers at the beach or can use for model changing room for outdoor shoot (provided the wind is not too strong to blow the tentage away - anyway pegs are provided to secure it)

I am not sure if it is available locally. If so, appreciate you let me know the place, so easier to buy here (no need MO).

The price would most likely be less than S$110, incl freight, taxes, gst etc. I will give the final figure if sufficient numbers are interested. Let say about 20 ppl

Pls note this is only an indication of your interest so that I can see if it is worth the MO.

Please indicate yourr nick if you are interested. I will let all know by next Sunday if I will proceed with the MOs and details of price and payment.

This looks interesting, thanks for sharing the info PE. (btw welcome back ) Does it comes with its own ventilation system? (i.e. fan/aircon/whatever...ok kidding ) But seriously have u tried it in the field yet? Wonder if it will get very warm inside, esp. in our hot and humid climate.

Upz for u too.

you'd want to cut out the base for nature photog so that you can walk inside it, like a moving bush ala Fred Flinstone

Yup, a moving target will be harder to hit than a static one especially if you are caught in this in with your 'bazooka' lens sticking out in any restricted or sensitive areas like army training grounds or near military bases, etc.

It doesn't look like it has a base anyway. Anyway, using a hide like this will help cause less stress to the birds/wildlife that you are photographing...(only if you don't get too close & blaze away with your flash of course )

looks like there is a base, you can see the white part at the bottom through the "door" in the first pic.

Thank you all for reading and placing the MO. I will close the MO now.

I will be ordering 10 pieces for all members as listed above and update all via PM or email when the tents arrived - hopefully before end this month. No need to pay now as I will pay first and collect the money when you collect the tent. Price is confirmed to be S$98 all inclusive.

Cheers

Default An Update on Status of MO

The latest update on this MO.

The supplier had just sent the tentage (though funds was transferred to the supplier last week), it is expected to arrive in about 2-4 weeks.

Because of the size and weight of the MO and to keep the price low, the speedy shipment by air was not chosen.

Sorry for the delay and hope to get tentage by early next month.

Cheers
