Think it's already selling. Have seen it featured on the papers for the past week.

This will be a breakthrough with the sweep panorama feature and 24mm wide, i will love to have it as a compact.

I think its quite cheap compared to other series , Its should be ard 400 , if i recall correctly. Tried it at Sony Gallery IMM . Its light and feels like a handy cam to bring around and put in your pockets heh.

The Twillight mode and sweep panorama are really cool. Only thing is in the sweep pano mode , the top & bottom frame has some limitations, so I guess its really meant for scenery shots more than others.

the W380 has a Super HAD CCD sensor while the TX1,TX7,WX1 have the Exmor R CMOS sensor to improve low light sensitivity. In terms of low light photography, would the Exmor sensor trounch the W380 CCD sensor ? However, I see that the Exmor sensor cameras has smearing in low light and very, very agressive noise reduction in low light situations and also in daylight situations. If the W380 also excel in low light, I'll go for the CCD sensor without the smearing and loss of details in low light. Howver, the CCD solution is the same other vendor's compact camera range, so low light photography performance for this camera should be on the same level as other cameras.
Can anyone confirm if the low light capabilities of W380 is on par with the Exmor cameras ?

Can we adjust the camera aperture and shutter manually?
