IXUS 500 launching here on April

Hi Guys,

Heard from MS Color that IXUS 500 will be aailable in Singapore on April. That guy Willie said that he obtained this information from www.dpreview.com

Can somebody confirm this matter again?

I dunno if it's launching in April or not.
But I know that Ixus 430 and 500 is coming out. (it's out in JP and EU and US).

The main differences of 400 to 430 are:

i. share/print button (totally useless for me)
ii. Quick shot function (if you turn off the LCD display for 400, u can get almost the same effect)

As for the 500 model, it has 640 x 480 video capture (up to 10 secs I think) and 5 megapixel CCD.

Up to you to gauge if it's worth waiting.
I bought the IXUS 400 last week, price is irresistable right now.

Got it at $735 from AP.
CP is selling at $750.

Any guys got a better price.
