I agreed with you .... I have given up on my regular shop and regular saleman at Cathay Photo. I have brought all my 5 bodies and many lens for the past 9 years from him. It seens that the prices that he quotes are always the highest, compared to MS Color, TCW, TK Photo. SLR Revolution offers very good price at a very good service. I hope the shop will do better than that shop opposite it.

Again, the manager, Alan has been very responsive to my queries, email, text sms, phone call (missed call). He will always remember to response. He always apologize if he cant response immediately due to serving of customers and sometimes when he is out and without price list on hand, cant response on timely manner.

So overall, the shop is still 100/100 in terms of service, I dont think we can expect too much from a "manager" who is busy running the business?

Do change the Title of the thread since it is clear by now that the so called shop name is SLR Revolution. We are not stupid. We know the true purpose of the thread title. The hidden agenda is to advertise for a certain shop named in the original title in CS. Don't know why they have to stoop to this.

haha some anger there. I went there to get my EF 50mm 1.4 few days back. They quoted me a good price, but what really won me over was their service. I've had bad experiences previously at AP and CP (marina square). Sure their prices were pretty okay, but their bo chap attitude seriously turns me off. Singapore really has some way to go in terms of customer service.

Anyway I'm not in any way linked to the shop.

Well I visited this new place a couple of times as well. Friendly people there.

But this thread is beginning to sound more like an awareness raising campaign + other genuine comments from patrons.

Im another with low posts count. Hope I dont make this thread look more fishy haha

hi, I'm the starter of this thread. I must clarify tat I not related to this shop. I myself a newbie. and bought my dslsr from harvey horman. u all csn see my postings under sony folder.

the reason why I have this thread coz I never noticed this shop until tat day I eas in funan looking for new lens cap. in the past, I never noticed this shop and I had good experience in this shop.

I believe in letting public know abt good shops, as much as other ppl complaining abt bad shops.

at this present moment, i'm in hk now holidaying. so i'm not related to this shop.

in fact someone from alphadslr met me personally coz I bought cam strap from him before coming to hk. i'm just a beginner.

those who think got hidden agenda behind this thread, I suspect tat u r related to the other shops..... I can prove my identity. can u??
