Which part were you stopped? If inside the club, yes they have clubrules but outside you are free to use your badass camera. Anyway, I was also at the read bridge beside the "free herpes" girl getting sloshed. That was a great and colorful night. Too bad the taxi's are all "BUSY" waiting for bookings yet again.

Yea you can't bring the big camera's into clubs unless you're shooting for some media.
Most of them have their in house photographers. I moved in and out some clubs i had access to and was walking around a lot. Yes i saw the Free Herpes lady. haha

@acerpic
Yea especially on the all white costumes. xD

More shots, for those that can't seem to load the flash gallery.

I think for this kind of events, its counter-productive to manually adjust the flash... let photoshop fix it instead. Or else you lose opportunities and even get unexpected result.

There were white costumes, black costumes, and a gazillion colors and shades in-between, and there were flourescent lights, yellow lights, moon lights, neon lights, happy lights, and even those that comes out of costumes and tshirts... so aperture mode and auto-flash and snap, snap, snap for me. Hehe. I took some but just within my group and the friendly neighbor herpes lady and her free H1N1 poppy... :P

Man.. one of the best street party this year ever! Thanks for the pixies. I'm reliving them all over again. Hahaha.

I was stopped outside the clubs, the common walkway where people walking around. I told the security that there others also using the same type of professional cameras, she says she was going to stop them too. True to her words, I saw her stopping others too. I understand if its at a club compound is understandable but along the walkway ?
