There was a sudden burst of late afternoon sun rays that help to create the much needed lighting under the dark forest canopies. And then the Hooded Pitta popped onto this much anticipated perch as part of its feeding routine
which I have hoped for the usual smooth green background for a Pitta shot of the year ! Presenting 2 simple H-Style pictures of the Hooded Pitta. Wow. Nice bird with nice clean background. Like the way this bird turned its head back to look at you.
I am trying to learn, may I ask, is there any reason why you chose matrix metering in #1 and spot metering in #2 instead? |

Thanks folks for the kind compliments.
tanhb : The choice of metering was chosen due to the lighting condition and I wanted to keep the blacks exposed properly. |

H style is swee. Too bad our Canon flash dont have this flash control function. Talking about the "sleeping folks", I'm scare to shoot alone there. Yesterday all of a sudden I was alone as all the rest left when the Pitta didnt show up.
