The manual is used to update the Konica Hexar Silver to silent mode, just as the black Hexar.
No need to open the camera. just some step of operations. |

Silent Mode for Hexar AF Silver
I used the info above along with the original Chinese image and combined them with what I what I have gleaned through the years. I think the image below is a bit more accurate or specific. Use at your own risk, however. I will accept no responsibility for problems. It might be possible to ruin your camera.

No, wait till you try the silent mode... there's a big difference... and the film only advances when you release, so in practice it can be much quieter. However, I think the digicams are just as silent nowadays. |

If I didn't read wrongly somewhere on the web, all models of the Hexar AF has the silent feature, even the later models.

Presence of Silent Mode
The capability of silent mode is inherent in all models of the Hexar AF; but it is only active in the original Black and possibly the Rhodium and "Classic". One has to reprogram the firmware in the camera to activate the stealth mode in the Silver and other versions.
