again, i have to give thumbs up to service. they may not be the most conversant or eloquent (that one, i recommend john 3:16), but they are definitely sincere and friendly.
i like that they are a viable grey market option singapore.. i mean. i asked about some sigma lenses. They said yes, it's grey set, i.e. no local warranty, but international warranty still stands. so that works for me. do any of u have any personal experience about grey set + intl warranty? do the shops honour and repair/replace your item? More options are good! for those who like e security of local warranty, go to the shops who supplies that. For those who accept the compromise of grey set, there are good shops like Orient. ![]() |

i just checked out this place to get the ef 50mm 1.8 II but it's not cheap. $135 with shop warranty only.. ended up in AP - only $125 with Canon warranty.

hey guys, i just called them - 63391035.
from the outset, the service seems quite friendly and good. a lady answered my call and she was polite and patient. i made inquiries for the following, which she got the quotes for me in no more than 8 seconds. prices are quite competitive, and includes GST. Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 Macro - $1.4k approx (it was actualy around $1380 or sth, cant rmb exactly) Sigma 30mm f/1.4 - $588 Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 $620 I clarified with her - the shop has: 1) a 10-day one-for-one exchange policy if the product is defective out of the box. 2) a 1 year shop guarantee, ie if anything happens to the lens they will deal with the servicing cost for you if you bring it back to them. hope this helps you guys! |

wahh the 70-200 f/2.8 is an excellent price! if this is the macro version, i believe that sigma uses their new ELD glass, one step up from the typical SLD that theyve been using for so long.
the 30/1.4 is good too ![]() |
