Default Ir @ NTU

The sun was bright yesterday, so I decided to get out of the building with my R72 on my cam & get rid of my white pasty look. All were taken at School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

This would have looked better if I had not included those two things sticking out....

All the images were a blend of a few exposures. I think I have finally got a half decent work flow and shooting technique! Now I need to learn composition. C&C welcome.

you can try overlaying two of the same image (via multiply, softlight etc) to make the trees stand out from the buildings.

now seeing your foto, reminded me that old lim chu kang road up to the armor camp might be a good stretch for IR foto.

OT: are you a phd candidature in NTU?

Wah ... "Big School Student" (in hokkien) ahh ...

Anyway, nice shots. As you have mentioned, wasted on the shades that are sticking out.

Hope you don't mind me editing your photo. I use PS to take out the shades.

The power of cloning!

OT: Ahh.... nothing that great about getting my head damaged. Hardly any time to shoot now

I like the original one that cerebrus had for #2. the shades provided a more balanced feel. Otherwise, the picture feel lopsided to the bottom left. Just my newbie 0.00000002 cents view.

Nice school ah? hahahahaha.

OT: Your head damaged really bad these few days.

tltan

Have another one to add, the sky is a bit different for this. Took it at the same time as the rest.

Neat? Hahaha, I have trying to figure out good composition for quite a while

Realised that you really need bright sunlight to shoot with my S2. Think that is why most of my previous shots do not come out right. Next thing to do, make my workflow into an PS action....
