an art movement mainly involving henri matisse. they use loud strong exuberant contrasting colors that is not so harmonious but display strong expressionist feeling. people dun usually use red and green, but they do. sky need not be blue. apple need not be red. banana need not be yellow. and we ain't talking abt green apples and bananas.

For once, a change from nature colors tonight....wonder how many can accept such arts.

Stan have you fallen in love recently? Ur use of colours are telling Fauvism involves more than just colours, the dislocation of forms in the intepretation are part it as well. You may try a fish eye the next time for this expression hehe... just kidding

Hope you dont mind a newbie commenting..
somehow..i think the perspective and colours will look great on a canvas print oil/acrylic
rather than on the screen or print..

and btw, your other travel photos totally blew me away!!

Bro, thanks for viewing.. not many would that a second look at such "Red" photo Arts...but glad you do.
The Red could be too warm for many...

Cannonball, I hv similar thought, if this is a huge canvas painting,
the visual effect would be strong esp in a very spacious foyer hall.
You surely have an eyes for good things.
