It's A Small World After All - Photography Contest
The photography contest is held in conjuction with UWCS Anniversary Bash 2005... Hope that you guys can participate spontaneously, no shy no shy
 Closing Date: 31st October 2005 Theme: It’s a Small World after all RULES AND INFORMATION: 1. General eligibility: You must be a registered U/W Clubsnap member. Your profile must be updated in the thread Housed UW Camera Owner's List 2. The judges are waisj, Darren and representatives from the event supporters. . Judges are not allowed to participate in this contest. 3. Digital entries and scanned film entries are both accepted. Only images taken in the sea qualify. 4. Images must be suitable for all audiences. Images showing harassment of wildlife will be removed and disqualified. Replacement entry will not be allowed. 5. The use of image editing software is highly encouraged, with the goal of striving for better quality and higher realism. Please note the adjustments in your comments. If you are proud that you have done no PS adjustment, feel free to state. 6. Each contestant may enter a maximum of two images per contest. 7. Image size must be not more than 600 pixels on the longest side. (eg 600 x 400, 400X600, 580x360) 8. Contestants are to send the entries to beivied@gmail.com. The qualifying entries will be exhibited during the Bash, and the winner will be selected based on the combined result of judges selection (70%) and member votes (30%). 10. As non-professional underwater photographers ourselves, selection of winning image may be partially based on our personal preferences First Prize: 2 days 2 nights Hin Daeng and Hin Muang LOB trip on MV White Manta worth SGD590.00 (excluding airfare and taxes, T&C apply), sponsored by White Manta Liveaboard Pte Ltd Consolation Prize (three sets): One year subscription to Asian Diver Magazine, sponsored by Asian Diver. dun say like that ... you seem quite a keen learner to me, sure can make it one... look at lovells, i think he is one of the few with the most remarkable improvement over the last year... and he won the last macro competition |

The theme is just "It's a Small World After All", up to your interpretation and imagination, as long as the theme of your picture fits. Commonly, it will be macro photography I guess. ok la, entries have been rolling in .. though some expected contestants have yet to submit
 you know who you are!~ quick quick la, monday is the deadline liao le ... noted that i didnt state the time of submission closure hor .. i will be out of town from monday evening and back on thu evening. I need to prepare the entries in a manner so that the judges can award the marks in an efficient manner. so, the closing time for submission will be 2pm on 31st October. ok? |
