Default Sunset scene at Labrador Park

Had a company BBQ at Labrador yesterday. And manage to capture a few scenes there at sunset.

Taken with FZ10. Handheld for all. #3 pressed against railing.

Appreciate any comments! Thanks!

#1 Quay Crane Sunset

#2: Cycling into the sunset

#3:Planet Jupiter....the bright 'star' is actually Jupiter....

#4: Red and Amber Warning! Oil prices are Rising!

Hi
For #3, the bright one is actually Venus. Jupiter is that dimmer dot lower down and to the right. Nice shots though....have always thought you were a macro-only guy!
cheers

Thanks Tuagu, k3nn3th03!

CYRN, thanks for your point of view! Maybe I should have walked to the pier to take it, so that it will not be in frame.....but the sun just appeared from the clouds, and this whole moment only lasted 5mins +, so had to take from where I am.

I used my zoom on my camera, and this will make the sun big. As to the red...well, it was red, I used manual to get abit underexposed so that the colour will be richer....but otherwise, it was naturally red!

The colors, the sun, the clouds, the moment... Fantastic!!

How come I don't get to see such sunsets in Singapore... And I live in the West!! Hehe...

Anywayz, I agree with ortega about #1 being my favorite, and about the lampost. I think it would've been great if the lamposts had not been on at the time... But oh well , beyond photographer's control.. Still, it only detracted a tiny bit from the the overall stunning-ness of the moment. Keep shooting!
