A red light is more interesting on a dark cloud filled night.

i also think red light will make this shot more interesting, the fact that red is always associated with "stop", "danger", together with the dark cloudy sky will indecate a heavy down pour is coming.
maybe should not include the hole at the top right corner.

I feel that a different pov would be better, maybe to include the post as well. this is to give your image a sense of depth, also some shadow detail would be good, you can try fill flash. and as mentioned by denniskee the red light would be better.

This is eerie. Just 2 days ago, while taking pics in Seng Kang, I was thinking of shooting a red traffic light similar to this one for posting in critique corner to see what everyone thinks, and I see one here today. Guess this saves me the trouble, ha ha.
To share, what I wanted was to take a more direct view, I'll wait for green man at pedestrain crossing, walk to the middle of road and take the traffic light from front instead of from the side like your pic, with sky as background and red light instead of green. |

I think all had the same thinking that it shd be red light instead.... Why not try and replace the colour in PS... Composition is not quite right as well... but cannot put my hand on it.
