Default Shooting Experiences in China Town.

Went out for shooting experiences in one of the hot-spot tourist attraction. Not alway wanna to capture moving cars/peoples. Instead opt for something "quiet(er)". There my shot below.

I am trying not to crop, as i know it not a good habit. So pls do give me comments on composition/framing. Thanks alot.

#1 - The quiet street

#2 - Directions

#3 - Seals

nice series of chinatown shot.

The last bike shot saw it b4 in other ppl pic.

I prefer more shot of the background, this shot seem to be
crop too tightly to give it a sense of loneliness.

I would've prefered the bike to be positioned on the right side rather than left. Seem a little awkward there.

2cts.

Otherwise, I liked your perspective for #3, #4 &#6! Nice...

Oh, ya lo. Thanks for ur comments. Understand that the window is abit distracting, but me do not wish to crop. That why.

Thanks natnivek too

OK, here is my take, although my monitor is now spoiled with only yellow colour displayed.

The pictures are interesting by their own rights and this I have no doubts. Is this Chinatown? Apart from the Chinatown labelling under every picture, and the Picture 2, it does not appeal to me that it is Chinatown. Maybe the intentions of your pictures are different, but if you are trying to show more of Chinatown than just street shooting, it does not work for me.

#1 - Note for the cars around, it does not make it feel that it is really a quiet street

#6 - Pretty interesting low angle shot, would be better still if the person did not open the legs

#7 - Auntie caught you in action, need to be more secretive.

#13 - The bicycle does not look lonely, or rather not old enough to look lonely. The window is a bit distracting, maybe you can shoot from another angle like the front.
