hi,

walked about with my D70 and here's what i got. nothing done. posting whatever was captured. please comment and no need to hold back. its the only way i can learn, thanks for viewing....

and lastly, may i noe how to get uniform sizes for my fotos? how come some big some small? i used photobucket, and i never resize prior to uploading, let the website resize automatically...

erm, well... i think ur photos are quite, erm... kinda flat(?)
it doesn seem to bring out any impact, but the colours are nice though,
i sort of like #5. =)

sorry if it seems kinda harsh, I'm not any pro either, just sharing my thoghts.

there was this mercs exhibition at fullerton hotel. but they were pretty closely parked,so diff to get more shots.

may i know when the exhibit would end & how many cars were out for the exhibition..maybe i'll pay a visit.. thanks alot

Sky's the limit might make a good wallpaper if you underexpose it more.

could u pls educate me on what u meant by underexposing more?

does it mean i shd meter against a bright object?

if you are using a D70, you don't have to really meter against a bright object, cos if u meter it against somethign too bright, ur pic will get seriously underexposed...

I'm not a nikon user, but I believe the D70 should allow you to adjust your exposure 1/3 or 1/2 stop less by turning e dial... do check out the manual or ask some D70 users here. =)

sorry can't help u there, cos I've been a canon follower... hehe

By adjusting exposure to -0.3EV or slight more, the sun will not appear too harsh. Details in the buildings should still be there. Next time you take this shot, try taking a few different combinations to get different effects.

Hmm, I tot the idea is to underexpose it?
by metering it against a bright object or by adjusting the ev compensation,
u achieve almost the same thing..

perhaps just adjust it a bit lower, not too much and see the different effects and see which one u prefer..? =)

Thanks, i know #3 is under exposed but then it was kinda on purpose. kinda like the mood it gives..
