13rd Sony User Group Gathering : Clementi Bridge

Dear Sony Buddies

This is the 13rd Edition of Sony User Group gathering and all are welcome (Regardless of brand, digital, film or prosumer camera).
Since the 1st gathering till now, most of us have upgrade to Canon, Nikon, Minolta DSLR, but there are some members whom have still faithfully retaining the very good of the Sony F828/F717/F707.

We intend to have a shoot as you walk photography.
We will proceed after the Chinese New Year period and below is the tentative arrangement which is still under planning status, we will update again once finalise. So stay tune to Sony Forum.

Here is the Battle Plan :
Place: Walking Trek along Buona Vista towards Clementi Bridge
Meet up : Buona Vista MRT
Date : 06/03/2005 (Confirm)
Time : 1430 hrs (Confirm)
Pre-planned schedule is
i) 14.30 pm : Meet up at Buona Vista MRT
ii) 14.30pm~16.30pm : Walk as you shoot along the walking/running trek
iii) 16.30pm~18.00pm : Clementi Bridge
iv) 18.00pm~20.30pm : Dinner at Commonwealth McDonald restuarant
Group photo taking and Camera's group photo taking.

Once Again, hope you guys like (Bernards, Holeinone, DCA, Bryan, Rexus, T16, Snowspeeder, Dreamtheatre, Artboy, Ramses, Pianodancer, Icarus, Ricleo, beaniecow and other new CSers members can come along).

This is the bridge we intend to shoot, somehow, it remind me of Operation Market Garden, the darling Allies Airborne operation to capture Arnhem Bridge in Sep 1944.

Due to the hot weather seasons in Singapore, please remember to drink a lot of water before comimng and have a water bottle with you.

We dun want to see any of our buddies fainted along the way.

Do note the a lot of walking is require as the whole distance covered is about 3~5 km (I am not too sure, will finalise later).

d) 8.00~10.00am : Study chapter 1 to 4, skip chapter 5
e) 10.00~10.15am : Tea Break
f) 10.15~12.15am : Study chapter 6 to 9, skip chapter 10
g) 12.15~1.00pm : Lunch

Maybe you can be RSM of the day and conduct a water parade before the route march commence. Remember to bring your paystick! (Is it called/spelled: paystick?)

OIC, its a pace stick! Remember to tuck the monopod under the arm, chest out and walk proudly with it.
