Talking 'InfraREDding' the Singapore Icons

Another Infrared outing. Had a very long walk from Fort Canning -> Esplanade -> Merlion Park -> Empress Place.

Hope you'll enjoy the photos as much as I do taking them.

1) Fort Canning : Trying to get a mono IR-effect. Adding some 'Halo' glow and grain.

2) Color Version

3) Novotel (Former Dimaru)

Hey Jon, good leh!

The shots are generally much sharper than your previous shoots.

Thanks for the comment guys.

Vortex....I am trying to convert all my pictures to have this glow...but i am not sure if it is acceptable here. the glow will make the picture rather soft.

Max. I think i should really consider the lens...but I am still looking at my EF 70-200 f2.8L for now. I tried to pump up the ISO to 1600 so that I am having a 1s-2s exposure....the down side is the noise that it created. But your 300D test seems like it is only 20D that really requires the long exposure.

Teerex....added USM on some of my picture to bring out the sharpness.

Your shot 5, 6 & 7 exhibited some hot spot.
Maybe changing to B & W or Sepia toned would be better.
