No digtal prints at the moment, after june.
As for negetive scan, unless u have a huge volume, it is better to scan else where. The quality is sure beat yr neigbourhood ones. I go to konota and Stanly place as well.Dependong on yr requirement, if u like machine soft for printing portraits, they are a better choice (Konota vs Stanly). so far inhouse they only do prints and forecoming, scanning... no slides yet.
quality is imho good (ok my first roll was reala night shots) but there is really a diff for colour correction. Almost pro, although I dunno how pro is pro, at cheaper than most neighbourhood shops' prices. (I tried reala (lazy) on a previously condemned shop downstairs and came back same cyan tint, as if I shot under a tungsten sun.) the fun part is if you're eng-eng u can sit down and exchange pointers with him, maybe not artistically but he's quite proficient technically. I picked up tips on how to use various film from him... ![]()

Just an update. Went there just now. They dun have fixed opening hour. Just call before you go. They will wait till 7+ if you call beforehand.
They will give you a "NUS discount" card, with some benefits listed on it. Wedding photos will not enjoy the discount as the boss will personally develop it for you.(At least that's what the lady tell me) Only managed to see the lady who is overwhelmed by the increase in business. Nice lady.

Very friendly husband wife team.
Even called up to tell me my shots blur, out of focus; asked me if I still wanted to print them. (actually LOMO shots lah tt's why) I'd go to them again when I'm in SG, cos they do borders for free. But a lab in Melbourne is cheaper and somehow my prints turn out nicer there. Somehow more colour / saturation. All in all, better then those 'auntie' neighbourhood store. |
