Your pictures of the fireworks are great. I think that being close to the blasts and with parts of them out of frame actually gave them a sense of grandeur.
Did you had any problem with the smoke? I was at the Promontory and saw the smoke blowing roughly towards the Merlion Park.

Thanks peterwang. Actually, the wind was blowing towards the left from where I was. And it was rather strong. Before the next set of fireworks, the strong wind was able to blow almost all the smoke away. Hope that answer your question.
