    Default Some "accidental" NDP Rehearsal Shots From Bay East

    Happened to be at Bay East doing some night shots of Gardens By The Bay and got to chance upon the NDP flypast and rehearsal. Sharing a few shots here from a different view... Enjoy =)

    Ok... some fireworks shots......... This place might not really be the best viewing place for NDP fireworks.... but nevertheless, posting to give you an idea from a different angle... Thanks for viewing...

    Thanks thanks!!!!! Didnt go there to shot NDP... but suddenly saw the chinooks with the national flag flying directly toward me... and the planes.. so just take advantage to snap... Not mentally prepared at all.. so abit messy with the settings...

    Nice photos you got here.

    Did you take these last Saturday?? I was there too, from 5PM until 8-ish. Got to shoot the fireworks as well but not as nice as yours so I'm not posting it. :P

    Thanks! I think my fireworks are ugly too. But just decided to post them here for others as a reference- which I guess my location is not really quite a suitable place. Hahaz

    Great "accidental shots". It's better getting good shots unprepared rather than not getting a keeper when prepared.

    what focal length did you use for #3 & #4

    you took the photos from Marina Bay Golf Course?

    Thank you!!! Am using my Tamron 17-50mm F2.8+D7000. I think the focal length should be 17mm(DX) or something.... I took from Gardens By The Bay(Bay East). It is the new waterfront garden and Marina Bay Golf Course runs along with it....
