Like a homeless guy he has a good stash of manga magazines in his bag under the bench, but I don't think this guy was homeless. He looked too well groomed and dressed to be homeless. He's probably unemployed and collects the magazines to make a bit of extra cash.

On a sunny weekday like this day, I too would rather read a good book then have a sleep on a bench outside. Sure beats tapping away on a computer keyboard inside an office.

Seems a bit like HDR pics. Did you post-process these in any specific way to get the look?

Last picture from Marinabay Sands (MBay121211_2), I needed to adjust the scanner curve to capture the wide contrast range of the negative ( I guess that could be seen as "HDR Processing or Zone Mapping " ) . Thats why it looks grainer than the others , also its from the same film / development.

Coz most people not quite interested in taking a chance with the odd ltm lenses loh... saw the lens came up on the bay, tried to google but couldn't find any reviews / pics etc so just whack!

Were you trying to catch the figure in the advertisement guy's mouth?
