riotbmx: think of the negative as a music score.
and the final image as the music itself.
i started with the negative, added contrast, reduced brightness + spotting + burning in.

I was stepping off the taxi going into Mandarin Oriental
when I saw this Bride waiting for the wedding photographer.
I said "So Pretty", she smiled and I took this shot.
Leica IIIf with 50 Summicron. Film is Kodak Tri-X 400.

The Auto S3 seem to overexpose by 1/3 or 1/2 stops for B&W due to the different battery voltage but for Velvia its perfect. My scanner isn't doing justice to the slides, the actual stuff is better.
