I am trying to gather information about current lowest prices for new and used Canon DLSR cameraa (Except the high-end range) Listed below are prices that I have collected from sources like the Clubsnap forum and retails outlets etc. Please note that prices may vary from time to time or from places to places, and also depending on the different packages and bundles. Your mileage may varies so this is only a guide. Feel free to post information you may have which are different for the one below.

sadly the prices in s'pore is much higher than in US (for almost all electronic gadgets). i juz happen to see 5D (brand new) selling at US$2850 & it comes with rebate of US$300 before end of July. that somewhat makes the price in the S$42xx range with a conversion rate of 1.65 & if u add 5% GST, that works out to be in the S$44xx range.

will we see the 5D price drop to S$44xx range by Great S'pore Sale? my guess is not likely even till x'mas. if u got lobang in US, i think the rebate is very tempting.

yes i concur the price in US is cheaper. but if you add int'l shipping of ard US$110, local GST and dunno what other insurance charges, might be close.

i just bought the EOS 350D at hoon cheong at SLS for $1510 net and have yet to claim the 1GB CF card and Lens kitbook.

Be careful with the rebate because it is only applicable to US residents. They will not send the rebate check to Sg and even if they do, you need a US bank acct to cash it.
