Re: My Oh So Cute Pentax Q
Hi all, I read through the thread on Pentax Q and am getting quite excited with this small camera. I am looking for something better then PnS but lighter than a DSLR (sold my Kx a while back). Will the Pentax Q make a good buy? More so for normal use, portrait shots of my baby and such, nothing too fanciful so thinking of just having the kit lens. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks again!

Re: My Oh So Cute Pentax Q
Sharing a pic of a grand old colonial building on the Haihe River front in Tianjin.
With no camera support available, thought I try HDR to capture as much detail as possible. Handheld, 1/50 sec, f2.2, ISO320. As can be seen, there are lots of noise visible in the sky ( I have already reduced in CS5) but I think it is a reasonable photo under the circumstances. There are even starburst !

This is impressive inspite of your gripe about the noise.

Impressive and nice shoot too.
Too bad I blew my camera budget with a couple of lenses and have to pass on that good deal for the Q.
Getting it once my piggy bank fills up again by June.
