My pleasure to share some photos taken this afternoon. All shot in jpg, custom mode natural colour. I am most impressed by the consistently correct exposures and the faithful color reproduction.

Frankly, I have no idea how they compare to those from the other high end consumer cam like Sony NEX, Olympus PEN, Panasonic GF or Ricoh GXR. Will let you guys ponder and decide

Thanks. Seems to have good sharpness and dynamic range. How about some handheld high ISO shots? Would love to see a shootout with a LX-5 or S95

Might be the weather. It was late afternoon - overcast sky (or was it the haze?), dull flat light.

Yes, was on AWB. I thought it looks ok on my monitor.

BTW, the shooting mode was set to natural colour.

Frankly, am surprised that the picture quality didnt turn out to be "bad" as I expected from a tiny sensor with 12MP. Not as sharp asthat of LX-5, but I would say on par with XZ-1. Color seems to be really natural, though a bit low on saturation, esp on yellows. Skin tones could be a little less red.
