I suggest some of us get started and book the accomodations first, esp those that's confirm going?

We expected a handful when driving there. Therefore, hotel accomodation should be within walking distance to Jonker Street and convenient hotel parking.
Refering to Lawerence who stayed at Hotel Mimosa before, this is one choice.
I checked online and there are other choice hotels which can meet our requirements.

How about Hotel Puri? Its right smack in Jonker St so no travel time needed.
I usually stay there when I frequented Meleka.
I stayed in the family room before which is pretty big and has 3 beds.

Not the cheapest one of course.

Hotel Equatorial Melaka can be book at about RM200-240, ask for corprate rate and pay by personal card....
bus can book from 5 star... 50 both way, go and pickup at hotel lobby, no need to taxi to the bus terminal...

within walking distance to Jonker Street and the red red church and that hill... and 2 free parking per room IIRC...
when i go there work, always stay there because of easy access and next to shopping malls...

Hotel Puri is a wonderful place to stay also inside Jonker, nice sugesstion by JK.

Not cheap but is worth to stay once,i visited this place i love to try but i think i will spend
more time inside..haha!

Parking may also a problem and the traffic?
It's weekend rate for Fri/Sat stay.

Since it's a weekend stay, and all the hotels suggested here are not very big, we better start to book our hotel now so to avoid disappointment

For those who already signed up, better pair up if we wanna save some cost for one night sleep, and book our rooms now. Those who still wanna join in later on, can always book room in the same hotel or hotels close by (if the same hotel doesn't have enough room by then).

According to google earth, it's about 170m between Mimosa & Hallmark Inn.

Is Mimosa fully booked that you chose Hallmark Inn?
