the bokeh scene behind the merlion is very great but you are unable to present it. If you would like to capture the bokeh together with the merlion, you need to set the ISO from atleast 400 and above together with a Flash light, with a prime lens such as 50mm F1.8 with aperture set to F1.8 and shutter speed set to 1/30 to produce a great colorfull bokeh, by the way, please bring a long the tripod with you for night photography,Thanks.

This is the settings of my camera when I'm taking the picture..
all Picture taken with Canon 5D Mk II
    Pict 1 :
    ISO400
    Lens 24-105 @35mm
    F5
    Shutter Speed 1/3

    Pict 2 :
    ISO400
    Lens 24-105 @35mm
    F4
    Shutter Speed 1/3s

actually i bring my 50 f1.2 at that time, but because I'm in hurry thus i don't have enough time to change lenses..
    thanks for the advice anyway

You can shoot a bit earlier with a blue sky instead of the dark sky... keep going and will improve....
