Nikon D3000
Hi, so i've done some researching, and decided that I want to buy a Nikon D3000.
Could anyone suggest where I can it at a cheap price?
Also, can anyone tell me when are the next sales etc.?
Thanks

Welcome to CS
Congratulations on your decision. Since you have taken time to do the research, why not spend a little more time & do the search on where to get it at the best price. Clubsnap is a great place to start

Boy, if only ClubSnap had a priceguides section... Oh wait, we do!
Just try to spend about 5 minutes looking around a bit.

D3000 is an entry level DSLR. Why not consider Pentax K-x 18-55 kit ($782). It has more value for the money

Hmm well.
I hear Nikon is probably one of the most popular brands,
so there might be more people who could help me if I have problems etc.
But I will keep that suggestion in mind!
Thanks!

After researching, I also decide to buy Nikon D3000.
I've just bought mine at MS Photo at $880 paying by credit card with 24months zero interest installment plan. $840 if you pay cash...

You heard Canon is one of the most popular brands, thus justifying your choice of camera.... then why are you getting the D3000 then? It's from NIKON, in case you didn't know...

I was at SLR Revo on friday evening. Overhead someone enquiring about D3000, and the numbers "814" were punched into the calculator. This price was indicated as inclusive of GST.

Re: Nikon D3000
Went to Funan today.
Alan Photo sells the kit for $850,
whereas SLR Revolution sell theirs for $814.
John 3:16 wasn't opened today, so couldn't tell which was cheaper.

814 is quite a good price for the D3000.
just curious what other brands you have considered before arriving at decision to get the D3000...
