Re: Share some LF photos...
lol billy looks like now i have a lot of problem with film scratches... loading 6 sheets of film into reel at one time seems too tough for me to avoid any scratches...

luckily, I have some allowance at the bottom

Re: Share some LF photos...
Yes. This is ambient light with a big reflector on the top left.
I have made the light source coming from the right , to be 1 stop higher than the left, so that the dark side is not so dark.

Re: Share some LF photos...
@ahhong... i use the ambient light in my balcony ..place a black flag on the left to kill some light there but it isn't too obvious.
@lkkang... thanks for the inspiration. take a while to "style" the food.
one more egg photo. it is actually a double exposure photo because i forgot to set the right shutter speed one stop lower. so exposed one more time. good thing tripod never shift
. quail eggs are no good as their egg shell are pale. Chicken eggs form very nice shapes and shadows. The mushrooms are good for their texture. This set of ingredients is good for stewing in dark soy sauce!

Re: Share some LF photos...
The eggs really create very good shape and contrast between shadow and highlight. And the texture of the pots in the first picture is quite interesting as well. Are these made of clay?

Re: Share some LF photos...
Some upload from noobish Vege bird. (A friend of mine, Mr KK helped me scan the 2 photos with his trusty Canoscan, else I will still be asking you to come my place and view it
)
Both photos are straight from scan and resized with photoshop. Nothing else fixed.

I didn't place a cover over my rear thinking that the night is dark and there shouldn't be any stray light from side only to find an interesting guy hitting his DSLR flash on the fireworks.
The light leak went into my holder causing the left side flare. Shouldn't have been lazy...

If you compare to the actual photo on a lightbox, you might start to hate your monitor and scanner.

Re: Share some LF photos...
The ugly mark on the right is due to clothes peg. I uses it to clip on the border.
