Re: MF outing : Pulao Ubin
If not cycling, the area of operation will be limited to the jetty area, old Malay houses only.
Bicycling will reach much more areas. We can rent a Trishaw to put all the gears in. Even LF is possible.
Last time I used to bring a Rolleicord, a tripod and ferried my toddler boy around. Food, water, bags also into the trishaw.
Wife just on a small bike followed behind.

Re: MF outing : Pulao Ubin
Travel light. A TLR is enough.
If bringing Hassy, a 50mm and a 150mm will be great.
I am thinking of how to bring a 250mm, may be not (hefty lens).
Bring lotsa film, memory car and batteries.
Lets do a group photo. I have the Kodak timer ready and will include meself.
Wide angle views (MF 65mm, 50mm, 45mm etc):
jetty area stage
jetty area old malay stall
jetty area old temple
jetty area old sea food stalls
Stone query area
chek jawa area
Close in views (MF 105mm, 135mm, 150mm):
old temples
birds, flowers, wild life
Ubin old colonial house
deserted houses, bikes, coconut piling
other far objects which we cannot get close
