better check the weather as some of the rides are outdoor.
Plan your trip there.
Plan it such that you will be able to cover all the ride. Some of the performances go by timing. Once you miss it or full, you have to wait for the next one. If I am not wrong, all the ride stop by 6 or 7pm. Have a meal there and enjoy the fireworks in the evening (fri and sat).

If you're all planning to take the rides together, I wouldn't recommend bringing so much stuff there. With weekend crowds, it might not be so secure leaving your stuff with them whilst you take the rides.

During my 'orientation' i got to try out a few rides. I think people see liao think we siao, a bunch of guys riding the rides in formal wear haha. Jurassic park rapids adventure seems fun, didnt try it, but prepare to get splashed
. Revenge of the mummy is a must try for those who not afraid of taking rides. A pity Battlestar Galatica isnt ready yet. Some shows you can try out are the Shred 4D adventure, Lights Camera Action and waterworld.
Food wise can try Loui's NY Pizza Parlor. Heard their pizza is damn good and big. Have not got to try it yet though. For lens its really up to you. If you're going on the rides forget about the tripod. Won't have time for Long exposures. Best to bring an 'all in one' lens. Wider for group photo, tele for snapping pics of family in the air if you have the chance

During the weekday the crowd seems quite ok, each ride wait at most 5 mins only. I heard the weekend crowd can be quite crazy, with waiting time hitting over an hour easily. Hope things goes well for you on this coming sat haha

1 hour wait? that is nothing. The indiana jones ride in USLA the wait was 2 to 3 hours.

At peak periods its around 2 hours as well. But IMO, i would choose to take leave on a weekday and go there instead. Having lesser waiting time always makes it a better experience.

That's really scary. I never found it worth it to queue 2+ hours for a 1+ min ride honestly. Queuing for so long takes a lot of fun out of it for me

I can't really advice you on that because i haven't tried taking photos there as well haha. If you ask me perhaps a PNS will do. Afterall iif you're there to have fun and take rides, carrying a dslr around can be quite a burden. On top of that certain rides require you to keep your stuffs before boarding it. The extra weight and bulk may be a little troublesome haha

Back then the indiana jones ride was new mah... and back then the entry fee was slightly less than $30 per pax.
