How to get to macritchie reservoir?

What I know is that you can take Mrt to Braddell, take a twenty minutes walk,cutting across Toa Payoh into Braddell View and coming out into Marymount Road,walk down the stairs of the bridge and onto Braddell Road and you are near to MacRitchie.
Easy way... get a bus guide,many buses pass MacRitchie.
I see MacRitchie day and night for fifteen years , "sian "already.
