Circus animals and those animals you see performing tricks in other countries' tourist resorts, are subject to sustained cruelty over long periods of time during their training. They are forced to perform tricks that are completely unnatural to the animals' normal behavior - for your entertainment. When animals attack suddenly, it may be due to something that triggers their memory of being subjected to painful torture during the training.
